I began my art career in 1998 when I designed a cover book: “The Hundred Years of Khuzestan History”. Years later, when it started to pour, I preferred to start up my design firm and focus on graphic design where more than 40 graphic project accomplishments in its portfolio. Since 2006, I joined Azad University, as a faculty of department of art and have been enthusiastically engaged in teaching Graphics to college students. |

During the years of my life in academia, I’ve came across enthusiastic and inspiring teacher as well as boring and off-the-mill never-ending lectures.
I’ve always asked myself: ‘what would I do if I were a teacher?’ The first discovery was that: ‘A perfect artist is not necessarily a good teacher’! One needs huge amount of interest and dedication plus a couple of tiny genes down in the DNA!’
I started my teaching career by teaching “Principles of Graphic” and “Computer Graphics” (Adobe Photoshop) at ACECR in fall 2002.
In the past eight years I have taught different courses and in each class I have constantly tried to find out the advantages and disadvantages of my method and improve the next program to be more useful, interesting and enjoyable for students.
The opposite table is presenting courses I’ve been teaching in these two years, reflecting an overview of my teaching experiences. |
